Q: For whom do you give thanks to God? (v. 8)
FIRST READ: Romans 1:8-17
Q: Why did Paul give thanks for the Christians in Rome? (v. 8)
Q: What did Paul pray for the Christians in Rome? How frequently did Paul pray for these Christians? And what was his specific request in regards to time with these believers? (Vs. 9, 10)
Q: What did Paul mean in verse 11, that he hoped to “impart” some spiritual gift to them? Why did this have to happen in person?
Q: What was Paul’s dual hope in spending time with the Romans? (v. 12) Who are you intentional about giving encouragement to?
Q: What was Paul’s “work” among these believers? (v. 13) What was the result Paul hoped for in this work?
Q: In your own words, what is the gospel? Who is the gospel for? Why are Christians reluctant to speak the gospel sometimes? (V. 16)
Q: According to verse 17, how do people access this great salvation? And then how are we to live?
