Q: When have you broken a law and felt no remorse?
FIRST READ: Romans 7:1-6
Q: In what way does “the law rule over someone as long as he lives?” What does this mean and how does it work out? Consequences? (v. 1)
Q: What has changed in regard to our national values concerning the permanence of marriage? When should divorce be allowed? How can churches work to help people maintain healthy, godly marriages?
Q: In what sense were Christians “put to death in relation to the law?” (v. 4)
Q: What does it personally mean to you that you “belong to Him who was raised from the dead?” What does God expect now that we belong to Jesus? (v. 4) What does it mean to “bear fruit?” (READ TOGETHER: Galatians 5:22-26)
