Q: Have you ever had a boss you really appreciated? What did you like about him/her?

FIRST READ: Romans 6:12-14

Q: What does Paul mean when he says, “do not let sin reign?” What kind of things do people do when sin reigns?

Q: Why does Paul refer to our “mortal body?” What else is there?

Q: How do we “offer the parts of our bodies to sin?” How do our bodies become “weapons for unrighteousness?” What damage do these weapons create?

Q: If we are “alive from the dead,” what should we make as an offering? And to Whom? When are bodies are placed under the full control of God, how do they become “weapons of righteousness?”

Q: In verse 14, we read that “sin will not rule over you.” How does the reign of Jesus in our lives benefit us on a daily basis? Why is it important to understand that we are no longer under the law, but now under grace?
