Q: Have you ever felt the judgement of other Christians because of choices you’ve made? How did this affect you spiritual growth?

FIRST READ: Romans 8:1-4

Q: “No condemnation” is a joyful message for those “in Jesus Christ!” What about those who haven’t put their trust in Christ? ( READ: John 3:16-19) Why do people reject this gift of perfect love? (John 3:19)

Q: What are the two “laws” referred to in verse 8:2? How were you “set free?” What is the role of God’s Spirit in this?

Q: What is it that “the law could not do?” How is the law weakened by the flesh? (vs. 3) How did God “condemn sin in the flesh?” And what does this mean?

Q: For those who “walk in the Spirit,” the law’s requirement is fulfilled. How should we understand this? (vs. 4)
